Jasun Martz

An internationally well-known New York interdisciplinary composer, musician, producer and multimedia artist (painting/sculpture/performance) who has collaborated with French art brut modern master Jean Dubuffet, toured with Frank Zappa, recorded with Michael Jackson (Bad and Dangerous), worked on #1 best-selling international hits but is probably most known for his contemporary classical symphonies. He appears on over 50 albums and has given hundreds of performances most recently in Europe, Cuba, Russia, Africa, Asia, North & South America.

Jasun Martz is a well-known New York-based interdisciplinary composer, musician,PRODUCER and multimedia artist (painting/sculpture/performance) who has collaborated with French art brut modern master Jean Dubuffet, toured with Frank Zappa, recorded with Michael Jackson (Bad and Dangerous), worked on #1 best-selling international hits but is probably most known for his contemporary classical symphonies. 

He signed his first recording contract at age 15 and appears on over 50 albums. His acclaimed contemporary classical, soundscape, experimental and alt-rock compositions have been used in film, television and advertising. 

Martz has toured internationally giving hundreds of performances at festivals, clubs, in the electronic music scene and in contemporary art galleries and museums, most recently in Russia, Europe, Africa, Asia and North & South America.

Jasun Martz studied at the University of California, Los Angeles; New York University; California State University, Northridge; Art Center College of Design and graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's degree in the arts emphasizing sculpture.
